Has anyone made there own lift brackets and what not for the IFS on the 88 era? I have all the equipment to make them but I was wondering if someone could send me some prints or measurements, or even pictures and tips. I've got the rear covered and I'm aiming for a 2-4" lift to clear my 33's a tad bit better. Any help would be appreciated.

I'd do a body lift cause i have one but i don't want to move my bumpers or sliders up and they'd look retarded if I didn't. Its a general purpose offroad toy and DD so I'd like to have the clearance. It see's mud, snow, sand, water, clay, and a lot of gravel roads.

For that size lift I'd look into Blazeland and save yourself the trouble. That way you know it's going to work well. By all means though, I'm not trying to stop your creativity, just offering another option. http://www.blazeland.us/

Thank you for the link and recommendation and I might put them in consideration when I have the money. But due to a recent car accident I was advised by a few doctors not to do anything but light duty work for 6 months. Well my job happens to be in the concrete business so I am broke right now. I can get materials for free so I figured I'd ask.

I'm a big fan of fabbing up my own stuff so I figured I'd try it. I'm sure someone here has done it .

Here's the truck, what do you think would look best for it? Would 2" be enough to stop it from stuffing the tires on big bumps or should i go 4?

Well if you notice the time of the post and recently got back on my feet and started working again. The rear is as long travel as its gonna get til four link and I have a set of UCAs and LCAs to modify. I've have spent a lot of time on the phone with blazeland but unfortunately a stretched timing caused detonation and ruined the head and block.

I have another motor that's never been machined on and in excellent condition. And I also have a box containing LCEs master rebuild kit. Going fresh before I long travel the front. I also have a built 7mgte to pick up that has 0 miles on a rebuild with a cresseda oil pan, non-turbo bellhousing, motor mounts and ECU. I will rock the 22 until the 7m is perfect.

Who else is down for keeping a toyota a toyota but having twice the power as a chevota?! My rear leafs are still toyota as well. Custom built pack that rides like a dream!
