88 22rte misfires from 2000-2500rpm

So here is the story thus far. I have just rebuilt the motor with 94mm pistons forged everything, new cyl head, plugs + wires(denso of coarse), new oem toyota dist(whole assembly), dual row timing chain conversion, valves adjusted (.008 in .012 ex), new TPS, new O2 sensor, running Megasquirt PnP2, Garret GT28rs turbo, brand new 300cc injectors. This is the stuff that I put on since I rebuilt it around 150 miles or so ago and yet the problem that I have been having is that starting at 2000 rpm and getting gradually worse until 2500 rpm the engine kind of hickups. By hickup I mean misfire but not severely untill I really push on the throttle. Then it gets pretty rough. I havent checked to see if it goes beyond 3k just because the engine is still not properly worn in. The last guess I could have would be the EGR but it was blocked off. All I can think of is either a bad ignigtor or coil. Any ideas?

Well plugs are new but I'll check the ground. It has followed the engine since I rebuilt it so it could be a possibility. Might need a thicker block ground even though its pretty good already.

Ok so went around the whole vehicle testing for voltage drops on grounds and what have you. I found maybe 20mV max around the grounds on my engine. Any one else have thoughts on it?

I would start by disconnecting each plug wire while its running. if it acts the same at 2000-2500 rpm you can iscolate the issue with that cylinder. Then you can trouble shoot with that cylinder, change the plug, the wire, maybe even a bad cap, or injector.... just my thoughts..

also I am selling a 22r stroker kit from LC engineering with turbo pistons, does anyone know anyone that might be interested?

I actually went through and plugged in my computer for my ecu and I was actually noticing a lean spike every time on the O2 graph. Im actually starting to think it might be a problem with the igniter. I believe thats what sends the signals to the injectors right?

Plugs and wires got replaced around 400 miles ago. Denso plugs and wires.
