87 toyota dual case problems
I ordered the dual case setup from trailgear back in October and Ivery just been working on the install in my spare time for the last few weeks. It's got a 4.7 rear case with twin sticks. And a 4.5" offset fwd shift front case. It's a 87 carbed pickup. Everything slid together like butter until I cranked it up to go through the gears. 2wd and 4wd work fine the rear case works fine, but it will not engage the lowrange of the front tcase. The shift rod is hitting the gusset that runs between the transmission shifter and the front case shifter. Is there any way to go about fixing this issue short of tearing it all back out and hoping trailgear don't give me the run around about exchanging it? It doesn't need maybe 1/4" more room to fall into gear. I've done called trailgear and left several vmails with no response.
Thanks for any help in advance.

I thought about stuffing rags in the shifter holes and notching the gusset with a die grinder lol. But if I have to pull the cases back out could I not just cut the 1/4" out of the center of the fork and tig it back together? Idk I'm pissed, I've dropped $6k with these guys in the last 2 years and they can't even return a damn phone call. Nearly 1600$ for dual cases and I can't even use the front case.
