87 4runner no throttle response

ok got the motor running now we have no throttle response in the cab or under the hood. what could cause this?

also when flooring it i get about 500 rpm, when left to idle it dies.

Check the AFM to see if its good, and make sure the flapper door isn`t stuck. Also check the TPS to see if its good and properly adjusted.

When was the last time the fuel filter was replaced ?.
