'86 SR5 brake lines

I never know how to approach a thread. Do I just start a new one or search for one with a similar problem as mine? On the Buick forum I searched and found a thread that was just what I wanted so I posted to it. Less than ten minutes later the Forum Nazi Moderator screamed at me [via e-mail] because I posted to an old thread. On yet another forum I got yelled at because I didn't search for an existing thread. So then, I'll take my chances with a new thread here.

I broke off the bleeder from the brake bias valve in my pickup. It was recommended to me by a friend, since a Toyota valve is big bucks, that I just replace it with a manual valve from a place like Summit Racing. Problem here is the OEM valve has one in and two outs while the Summit valve has only one in and one out. I may be able to bleed it by backing off the top line nut a bit and using that as a bleeder.

Why not just drill it out and replace the bleeder?
