86 Runner ret swap finished um.... almost

I bought my 86 Runner last year with 300,000 + miles on her.... no rust new everything, great starter. I purchased a 22ret with : wiring harness, cpu, and the digital dash and 110,000 miles! Should be simple, yet I have no plug in for the starter relay on the passengers side fender well, 15 plugs that go nowhere. I get nothing when I turn the key, so I bypassed and put a switch down to the starter, key on, cranking over and still no spark. so I have no spark plus no cranking hmm . Also the 7.5 fuse (drivers kick panel) has a short and pops the fuse, ignition fuse? The fuse box is also from the donor truck..
This is my main transportation so any input would be appreciated..

well if the 15 plugs went somewhere when the engine was in your donor truck, then i would think they need to be doing something in your runner. maybe try to find out where all the plugs went and try to find a home for them

i have a 5 speed, the donor truck was an automatic, power windows, door locks, so I think alot of the extra plugs are for a tranny cpu plus all the other stuff. My runner is a trail rig so the only thing that is power is the rear window. Just lookin for the person who has done a swap like this...........anyone?

Ya the pump shouldn't run, spent hours trying to figure why.

No spark at all, everything on my runner works, drove her into the garage for the swap.

I had my son turn the key as if to start then I used my jumper to crank the starter still nothing.

I downloaded a pdf with the wiring diagram for an 86 runner, trying to sort through it all today. I was really hoping for an easy swap!

All fuses are good except a 7.5 amp ( ignition fuse) It blows as soon as the key turns on.
I have checked for any open wire leads and haven't located one yet. The wire harness was checked out a few times before I installed it. I need to find the neutral safety switch for the automatic, my tuck is a manual.
