86 rearview mirror upgrades

hey everyone I have a 86runner standard. the rearview mirror wobbles and falls off. is there any upgrades like mirrors out of different vehicles. or fixing mine where it doesn't wobble

What ever you want to do.

I have not had a inside mirror for years or if i did have one i can`t see anything .Just have the bigger outside mirrors.

i am sure I must have some around some place if you want one

mine was fine til I rolled my runner now when I put my mirror in and place the plastic cover on it. it doesn't tighten it just wobbles and falls off.

If it wobbles at the screw trim down a plastic drywall anchor to tighten up the screw. I've had to use a few of these where the rear lights and the outside mirrors meet the body. The screw holes had become too big. I usually clip a bit off the end. My shameful secret:

well yea I know that caused the problem. I wanted to know how to fix it.and if there were other mirrors that would work. thanks nervo il try that. the mirror wont stay in the holder at all without the plastic piece over it it just falls out.

Like I said just get one from the yard and your good to go .

Make a custom bracket and install what ever mirror you want
