have this idea for 2 cup holders in my std cab 86 pickup, thought of all the places i could put them, and thought of where they were in my 94 and how to improve on that design while keeping it look factory, and i came up with this, this is the interior of my truck


now is it just me, or does that center arm rest look a little empty? couldn't it use this cup holder out of my brothers old jeep?

once i find the actual piece somewhere in the garage im ganna fab it up to sit nice in there, otherwise ill have to buy this cup holder from a tj (came across it when looking for the above image)



either way i think it will function well and maintain the factory look (minus the boost + a/f ratio gauge)

Whats everyone's thoughts on this? I'll post up a build thread for it when the time comes.

I like it, that was my first call as well. Now you going to cut into the factory arm rest or take it out and fab something full of cup holders and other wizbang switches and aux power ports...... (now i got your wheels turnin)????

lol, nah ill be good for a lil bit, just put 1 switch for the offroad lights where the factory ac button goes if it came with ac lol, and a wideband on top of the steering wheel and boost gauge ont he left side of the steering wheel
i do like the idea of another car charger outlet that will charge when the keys not in the ign, damn your good! lol
