no one thought to tell the gravel driver to straighten his wheels huh? And that guy was really trying to break parts, someone needs to tell him about low range and to pull slow and constant. he got lucky.

My guess, they wanted to rock the truck till it got momentum to get unstuck. We could assume so if we saw how the truck was stuck.

honestly, I dont see a whole lot wrong with his technique. Rocking is the #1 way to get unstuck, it's about momentum. From the looks of the video, the driver of the toy and the truck were on the same page and applying throttle at the same times, rocking the rig back n forth till it had enough forward momentum to get out. And it worked.
Slow and steady pulls rarely ever pull a stuck rig out unless the rig doing the pulling is huge, ie fullsize or a tow truck. havent you guys had much recovery experience???

Nothing wrong with his technique at all... I don't see him moving something that large without bumping it like that. The only thing he did "wrong" was to hook to something that large in the first place. It would have been nice if the truck driver had his wheels straight at least until he started moving though...

Exactly. It's not like he could have just sat there spinning the tires to pull that monster out. His "technique" was about the only way that little truck was going to pull it out. Everybody is an expert on the internet though.
