Yesterday I was at the wrecking yard and picked up a dash clock out of a 94 Runner. My pickup did not come with a clock from the factory. I was wondering if the clock from the runner was the same size as the P/U. Also my dad old me that there should also be a plug behind the dash for it even tho it doesn't have one, is that true?? Any help is appreciated before i take the dash apart. thanks.

I would agree with your Dad. The pickups and the 4runner's as far as I know used the same wiring harnesses if they are the same year models.

I just used a clock from an 87 pickup in my 85 runner and they are a perfect match. The plug will be taped up on its self and tucked back behind the stereo. It will be there.

I just can't for the life of me figure out why a clock would not be standard in every vehicle ever made.
