4 Crawler BL installed...(PIC LOADED)
Courtesy of WabFab (telling me to go to 4 Crawler) I was able to pick up a 2" body lift with new poly bushings and shipped cross-country for less than $275.
I am continually impressed by the willingness to help one another on this site. So here are the pics, some before and some after.
put the kids to work...
Removed front bumper to get to front mounts easier...
he will never get to drive it.
first block in
full tilt
lowering the radiator.
DONE!!!
Now I have only one problem, the lift messed up my shift boot. When I tried to go somewhere, I couldn't shift into 2nd, 4th, or R untill I removed the entire boot. Now I have a hole in the floor. Any remedies for this?

You may be able to either relocate your base plate (The piece that holds the boot) by cutting in the cab, or your shifter seat bushing may be worn. Does it still not go in gear with the boot off? If it does go in gear after the boot is removed it is probably the binding of the boot like you thought and you just need to relocate it an in or 2 back.

yeah, it still goes into gear with the boot off. It was the rubber boot that had it bound up, not just in stretching it, but between the body and the shifter. I am looking at the idea of inverting the boot onto the shifters. Dunno if that will work, tore mine up trying to shift. also looking into custom shifters.... that may get expensive though.
As far as the bumper, there is a little damage to the front I want to have fixed before doing any of that. May even build my own bumper by that time.

Considering a body lift for my truck aswell. Dont dig the bumper gap but atleast they sell brackets to fix it. Overall looks good and could be helpful for some clearance.
I just wanted to see before and afters without scrolling a page and a half

I had the same problem after puttin my 2in 4Crawler BL on with shifting. I just took the metal plate off. I reckon you could probably trim it out. But I just took it off and left the boot like mentioned before.
