4.88 gear swap pattern second opinion please!
Ok so i just finished up installing 4.88 gears in my toyota pickemup truck 8" rear member and keep stressing over the gear pattern knowing how crutial it is to the life of the gears. Any of you out there have much experience with gearing? if so let me know what you think of the pattern i settled with..
I really don't know much about gear patterns but after finding this site http://www.gearinstalls.com/rick.htm that shows what this fella considers "acceptable" pattern with a set of 5.29s and seeing how mine closely resembled the pattern i figured it should be ok... right?
Well if anyone can chime in to help put my mind at ease ide really appreciate it, would much rather take it back apart now rather than have my new gears explode on me 500mi down the road! Final pinion shim was .098 and .006 lash on the ring

That looks a bit shallow to me, you might want to pm or email Zuk, but I'm pretty sure he will tell you the same.
