I'm pretty sure that they only have 3 or four link suspensions for the rear. I haven't heard of a 5 link. Try looking at esbfab www.esbfabrications.com or try Giant motorsports. Here is a direct link to a 4 link setup that might interest you. http://www.giantmotorsports.com/products/yotalink.php

ESB Fabrications--$2000
Giant Weld It Yourself--$550
More Giant link systems here: http://giantmotorsports.com/products/index.php
You are going to spend more than $1,000, trust me. So if your budjet is $1,000, throw the project out the window and think of something else....or take some suggestions from the hack-fab over at pirate4x4.com, lol.

there really is no budget im just looking for a "kit" or plans to fab my own i would pay 2000 for that kit but id rather do it myself but if i have to do it that way i will. most setups like that are pretty much interchangable between any truck with similar wheelbase. whats the "hack fab" out of curiosity?

Hack fab is just dirty, mis-engineered, redneck type fabrication. Booger welds, poor design, not a single triangle anywhere, no gussets, wrong material (like schedule 40 pipe or rebar), etc.
If you don't want to spend the money on a kit that has been engineered for years and proven to work in race conditions, which is why the kits are so expensive, then you will have to do a lot of math and calculating. The tool to help you is this: http://mysite.verizon.net/triaged/fi...arLinkV3.0.zip
It is from this thread: http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/showthread.php?t=204893
Good luck. You need to know quite a bit about the geometry of 4 links and you also need to know exactly what you want. Things like roll-center, anti-squat, center of gravity, driveshaft plunge, pinion angle change, etc.
If for desert use, I suggest 60-80% anti-squat, 2" or less of driveshaft plunge, very little pinion angle change (could be wrong on that), 16-24" of travel, etiher 3 or 4 link.
If for rock crawling use, go with the same suggestions, except you might want to experiment with over 100% anti-squat. Some rock crawlers seem to praise a rear link system that grows when you get on the gas, supposedly helps in certain situations.

well i guess im a bit of a hack fab but i dont use pvc or rebar. my welds arent the prettiest but they will hold. as for all the engineering ive thought about that and its about worth the price to have it already done and im most likely going to stick with the downey springs and the spring over axel i just did for now and if i decide to go 4 link i may just buy a kit somewhere down the road.
