3vze radiator pressure test ?'s

im looking into a truck with a 3vze. i plan on this being a project truck. im heading over to do a compression test and another test im not sure the name of though but basically you hook a pump up to the radiator cap and pump it up and see if it holds pressure. which would test for leaks in the coolent system im looking for head gasket problems mostly

anyone done this before and know a good psi to test it at?
i was messing around with it on my dads hemi car and it went to about 13psi, then coolent came out of the overflow tube
