3vze O/S valve question

I have been emailing engnbldr back and forth a few times today and I had a question for you guys.
Ted's got the 1mm O/S valves available for $72 for all 12 valves. He's also got the premium headgasket kit for $133.00. This has 10.9 grade bolts w/steel faced slipperplate gaskets and from everything I can find, is the best kit available. I would like these valves and hg+bolts installed, but for now my HG situation is fine with the headers.
my question is whether a valve job and installation of engnbldr's HG kit would be good preventative maintenance or whether it would be stupid to have this done until my current hg blows.
sometimes if it ain't broke don't fix it, sometimes better safe than sorry, not sure which in this case

Well, has your headgaskets failed before? If so, what did you put in for replacement?

If they have never failed, I wouldnt touch it.

I have a set of engbldr OS 3.0 valves, never used or installed for $60 if you are interested.
