I am having an issue here:

1. Is the T100 forum sees no traffic so I am posting this here since I basically have a larger 86-95 truck. I tried to use that forum, aint no one look at it besides me and about 5 other guys it seems.

2. I cannot for the life of me figure this out:

A. I recall our trucks (as in 86-95 4runners and pick ups) can fit stock a 33x10.5 with no issues with rubbing at all on full droop and compression as well as regular old driving. BFG says the tire in reality is 32.7x10.5 too, only difference between this and B (see below) is the overall diameter is 1" larger period.

B. If A is true then why wouldnt a 285x75x16 tire aka a 32.8x11.3 tire fit the same way? Its almost the same height and about 3/4 of an inch wider, but with a 16x7 rim squeezing the tire or rim with less backspacing such as a 3.75 rim making it stick out more. I guess depends on the rim I choose, I do like the 3rd gen 4runner alloys tho.

FYI: I am wanting firestone destination AT's. Truck will see mild offroad, but I need a good all around winter and wet weather tire, tirerack rates these as #2 overall for on/off road incase you wondering.

C. Other option would be to do a 265x75x16 that measures 31.7x10.5.

I just dont want to buy 4 tires only to find out I am screwed. There is no borrowing of tires either unless some lives in Central NJ and doesnt mind. I rolled over a 16" chevy rim and 285 to check and it appeared it will fit, but the compression and droop looked like it could get it. Pounding the seams isnt a big deal either.

I just put 255/85 16's which i believe they are 33x10.50 on my stock wheels. they they rub a tiny bit, when turning.

so heres te thing NO RUB and i STUFFFFFED yhe tires hard i mean really stuffed them now i cant say that the same will be true for the t100 but it should be the only other factors for you will be backspacing and wheel well shape i was close but it missed it every time other factor is i have my sway bar CONNECTED if you disconnect it you might have some more travel that will end up rubbing other then that i say GO FOR IT ask TC+( troy) he knows the course i was on

yeah i have no isses at all with 32.11.50.15s and i bet 33.12.50 would fit .. with minor pinch weld smashage or not..

And i recommend to just hammer in the pinch welds and before rolling off the lot with the tires, lift the front off the ground and turn both ways, then find a place that gives you articulation and try and turn while articulating.

I run 33x10.50 on the stock rims with no sway bar and no rubbing. A couple caveats - you have to trim or remove the lower valance and beating the pinchweld is recommended. Or you can have your caster reset to move the tire a little forward, or both.

255/85-16 is the closest size in a 16" rim, and it's a little taller than a 33x10.50. IMHO, there is a BETTER selection in 255/85 - notably the Trxus MT and a couple MAXXIS tires are available in that size, but not 33x10.50-15

TC ran bobs cousre today and had no rubbing on 285 75 16s full stuff was WAYYY close but they didnt rub your right the valance and the pinch well would make SURE of it though i have my swaybar connected is there any stuff difference with it diconnected ?

Well I just nabbed a pair of mickey thompson rims 16x8 with 4 7/16" backspace, so hoping they work. But I surely have enough to clear the a-arms even with no tire on there when I test mounted the rims and I have 36" from the lower valance to the further fenderwell and over 36" from the ground to the fenderwell.

I had previously run my friends 265/75R16's BFGs which are 31.8x10.6 wide. In reality the other tires are an inch taller and 3/4 inch wider at best. So I am sure they will fit.

Technically, the sway bar doesn't affect the travel, however, in practical situations it does because it essentially increases the spring rate, so it takes more force to get the same amount of travel.

Was that stuffed AND turned, or just straight?

I'm VERY surprised you don't have problems with rubbage ...

both TC that middle hill at bobs place with the hugh ruts in it... i was all over it! in the ruts, on top of the ruts. about half way up i remembered i didnt air down hence i couldnt get lots of traction. duhhhh lol
