Won't know till ya try! Saying that, I did have to pull my Downey headers when I pulled my 3.0 just to get the motor out, but the front was destroyed and the inner fenders were pushed in to the point they were almost touching the heads. I always wondered if I would be able to remove and install the motor with the headers installed, so keep us posted.

Wow...now I'm really happy about my downey's...paid $200 for a complete exhaust. headers back to the tip at the end of the tail pipe. It was used of course...but well worth it...

I just did the same thing. Wasn't sure I could get both of them on and still fit it in. I did install the passenger side and it went in just fine. Since the drivers side is easy to get to it wasn't really a problem. The biggest problem I had was with the slave cylinder and the clutch line. Good luck.

Okay so i ended up putting the headers in the engine bay and then setting the engine down on them and then screwing in the studs, i really don't think they would fit if you put both on ahead of time but this proved to be easy enough
