3.0 litre fuel pressure regulator
so recently i came out in the morning to find that my rig wanted to crank like an s.o.b. but not fire off. i immediately thought of the basics...fuel,spark,time and air and led myself to a slough of fuel issues. it had been a gradual thing but i had been noticing drop in fuel economy as well as sometimes smelling fuel very strong in the morning when first starting. as you may guess i went to the cold start injector first...no dice. then i made sure all was good with timing and yada yada to make sure again. then i hit a wall. wtf? i thought. then it dawned on me. f.p.r.! i pulled the vacume line and sure enough at a crank it was spewing fuel . when i pulled it apart it had a hole in both diaphrams. nobody in town had one so it had to come from st. paul(a week wait) i got it this morning had it on in no time and she fired off great. a huge difference in pulling hills. just thought i would throw that into the tech knowledge potzp
