3.0 3vze Temp Switch Location 2-Speed Fan
Hey Guys,
We are still working on this 3.0... slowly getting her back together. So... We decided to add an oil cooler. I have the oil cooler now (just mocked up for the pic below) and purchased the proper Water Pump.
I also purchased 2 temp switches.. (We have a 93 Taurus 2-Speed Fan we are installing). So!!
Check out the pic below. Here is how I planned on mounting my (High Speed) switch.
The PROBLEM (AND QUESTIONS)
1. Where would be a good spot to mount the next (Low Speed) switch? I do not see another cooling port on the other side of the block.
2. Currently I have two switches= Switch 1 (Low Speed): ON=200F OFF=185F Switch 2 (High Speed): ON= 210F OFF=195F. Any thoughts on these? Im thinking off maybe lowering my Low Speed Switch? And off course they will be relayed to shut the lower speed off, when high speed kicks in.
Thoughts??
