I have the torker cam on my fresh rebuild and its great for all around driving. It really starts to take off at about 3k rpm, its find at the lower rpm's, but around 3k it hits and really takes off. I have no experience with the crawler, but my torker doesn't seem to fall of on the top end to me anyway.

i have herd that the torker falls off and makes less power than stock on the top end, i dont want that. i want to be able to wind it out some and be able to turn 32's maybe 33's.

Well I've yet to put my 260 in, as its sitting my garage but I was told it's the best all-around cam you can shuv in a stock head with stock in/out. Good gas mileage, low-end power where the 268 - 270 + etc I was told produce a bit more on the top end but rougher idle and less power down low (below 3k)

Not my experience, just what I was told other day from a camshaft guy =)

I think they might have told you wrong on the idle because the torker is good at idle and I believe the crawler is more choppy at idle. The low end power is great with this cam, but I also have the EB RV head.

Just gear it right. You need 4.88 gears for 33" for the 5spd and 5.29s for the automatic.

How much does this effect fuel economy?
