22re turns over but won't start unless bump gas
Okay need some help here, 92 22re 4x4 pickup.
The other night carry my gf to visit one of her friends prolly 20 mile round trip get back shut off truck go inside about an hour come back out n truck jus turns over wont start up bump the gas a lil bit n it cranks up n runs fine home.
Then the next day go to work everything's fine make a stop by the store on my way home get back in cranks fine. Then go about half a mile to the gas station, fill it up n get in to go and it does the same thing turn over but won't start up bump the gas n it starts up. I've read on it but nobody else says they jus bump the gas n it starts up.
I click the key over dont really hear the fuel pump turn on.

Well the thing is it was up to operating temp the second time, but ill check the wires in the morning. My buddy told me it sounded like fuel pump, don't wanna dump the 120$ on a denso pump if that don't fix it.

Make sure the fuel pump relay aka the opening circuit relay is functioning properly. My truck wouldn't start and I figured it was a frozen fuel line or clogged fuel filter but it turned out to that the relay got saturated and froze up. I let it thaw inside and re-installed it and it has been working fine since.
Good luck!
Good luck!
