22RE Turbo conversion -EFI Tech

I am building a 22Re with a turbo kit and I need some insight on the EFI system. I have a 22RTE ECU but I am building the motor for 10+ PSI of boost. I know LC has either the MAF upgrade or the stand alone kit. I want to know if anyone has used either and the pro's and cons. I want to keep it as inexpensive as possible but I want it to be right. If anyone has done this project- what am I getting into? Im running + .040 9.8.5.1 pistons and a LC 20R stage 2 head with ARP studs ECT. I purchased a used turbo kit for $1200.00 that has a cast manifold and a MR2 Turbo with all the oil lines, RC 320cc Injectors with harness, intercooler, BOV, ECT. Can I get away with the piggy back MAF kit, or do I need to do anything? I have researched the hell out of this project and I cant seem to get anywhere as far as fueling. Please tell me if im going overbord or what I need to do to keep this thing together long enough to enjoy it....

You're going to run 10+psi on 9.8:1 compression? What are you running, 110 octane?

I would recommend spending some money on a Megasquirt standalone management system. It's only a few hundred bucks, and there are so many writeups about people installing them.

I hope he meant 8.5:1 compression.
