22RE Surfacing

i had my motor bored over .20 over?

the machin guy also said he had to surface the deck and he took off roughly 5thousands.

do i need to worry about the pistons and valves hitting?

what should i do?

any opiniopns would be greatly appreciated.

sorry if this has been covered before. (i am not the best search-er)

thats what i thought but my buddy swears uo and down that it is going to change everything and that i need some kind of spacer.

anything i should be aware of?

i see. thanx for the help guys. i just want everything to be done right so when i put it in my truck, i will be good for another 300,000 haha..

it had 380,000 on it when i pulled the motor with several headgasket jobs.
i just want to do it the right way the first time around.

I would look into a head shim if any thing mine was done .010 and I got the copper head shim just to be safe $29 bucks now beats a couple hundred down the road
