22RE rebuild for the first timer.... where to begin??

Okay, so I got a spare engine off craigslist for 100 bucks. Blown head gasket. I put my son down for a nap and had the long block competly apart by the time he woke up. Way easier then I expected.
So now I have all these parts head and block to put back together.... I took the block in and had it steam cleaned they said it hadn't ever been rebuilt.
SO.... where do I begin with the block??? I know just enough about parts replacing to be dangerous, just now venturing into the inner workings for the first time. I'm going to "play" dumb. So break it down barney style for me. Thanks.

did they hone the cylinders?, if i were you ide get the block checked for cracks, surfaced (i think thats what its called....they mill the part were the head connects for a flat surface) and bore it .30 over and then order all your parts accordingly from Engnbldr.com good reputable toyota engine guy, and has great customer service, and while your at it ide get a cam for the motor too, tell Ted what your gonna be using the motor for and he can suggest a cam.. also SEARCH!!! alot of people have rebuilt their motors and take CRAPTONS of photos.....maily superbleader

I say RESEARCH

I did about 3 months worth of research to get all the components I wanted to get the most out of my motor without going to far and losing the long life and reliability and still ended up with about 140-145 H.P.

For the record I had no books/guides to help me and this was my first time rebuilding one of these never did more then oil and tune up's prior to the full rebuild, all the info I got to rebuild mine came from this site and searching 22re rebuild in the search field the rest was from members answering questions I had along the way.

Here is a link to my rebuild could be very helpful to you it is from bare block to full running motor

Here is a link to IAMSUPERBLEEDER's between the two of these you should have about every thing you need but if not start your own thread on your rebuild and ask questions you will get the answer you are looking for without a doubt
