22re fan clutch issue need help
So I was replacing my fan clutch in my 89 22re one of the nuts holding clutch to water pump stripped got it off, now I'm only using 3 nuts to hold it. Can I drive it to shop 3 miles away because.I think one stud is shot. Also I'm having rubbing on lower shroud this is after my 1" body lift,
Believe the seal from clutch to water pump is lose because of one bolt and water is coming out?
What size nuts and thread count as I may just try it again my self?
I mean it seemed pretty easy but since this was probably never changed what a headache with bolts being glued on even with pb blaster. Even the fan clutch had to be prayed off..any tips or should I throw in towel and take it to a shop?

If your water pump is leaking you have other issues .
Like the bearings in the water pump are starting to fail.
Replacing the stud will not help any coolant leaks .
Those studs are M6x1
It just depends on your mechanical abilities
The Irwin Sockets for rounded hardware can be a life saver on any vehicle.

3 nuts will hold it for more than a few miles, just ensure no free play. Buy a cheap thread chaser, A lot less $ than a shop bill. You may have to change the size of the nut though. Glued? Wow, that was shoddy work. The OE shroud can be adjusted slightly with the clips and old fashion elbow grease.
