Question 22re engine hunts

I have a 94 Toyota truck with a 22re engine and the idle hunts anybody know what causes this? it's not the tps

Idle is to high. Once your idle-E2 contact is closed on the TPS and the engine is up to temp your idle can not go above about 1100 or it will start doing that. This can be caused by a vacuum leak or improper idle screw setting.

Engine runs great until I turn on heater blower to HIGH. Then the engine "hunts". It acts like the tranny is shifting in and out of OD.

As mentioned about idle above.
I had similar problem when AC is on and I stop at ramp from freeway speed. Got fixed when I adjusted idle to spec.

yes its usually related to a vacuum leak or fuel pressure regulator, and coincidently, its often a vacuum leak at the pressure regulator vacuum hose!
