22re coolant tube to intake gasket

Replacing head gasket on 93 4x4, gasket between coolant tube and bottom of intake, gasket bolt holes don't line up. Have checked several parts stores and their diff kits, all the gaskets are the same, what now?

92 TOY, The gasket I am talking about fits on the end of the stainless steel coolant tube at the bottom center of the intake manifold. The gasket is boomerrang shaped, slightly longer on one side then the other, there for making one bolt hole farther from the tube opening then the other one. The holes on the gasket and tube flange don't line up, this is the only one like this in a head gasket set. If I can get pics, I will post them.

not that i have a clue, but if we know exactly what you mean, then everybody could weigh in. OLHARLEY and IAMSUPERBLEEDER just got done with their rebuilds and i'm in the tear-down phase of mine, so i haven't started looking for gaskets yet....but i will be getting my stuff from ENGNBLDR.com so i assume he'd be a good one to find it from.

hope that helps at least a little.

went out and took some pics for you.

is this it??

if it is, i see no evidence of a gasket or sealant (kinda looks like it needed it), maybe RTV??

anyway, if this is it, I'd be curious to know what the others have done

Doesn't use a gasket there. Uses an O-ring.
