22RE cold start problem

I have a 91 model 22RE conversion in my 83 HiLux. It has a cold start issue. I have checked the cold start injector resistance. It's okay. I pulled the injector and tested it with low voltage and it opens and closes fine. Plenty of fuel pressure at the injector as well.
I checked the cold start switch and it has continuity when cold. The problem is that there is no voltage to the injector when cranking.
Any ideas?

I know the temp. sender works the temp guage in the dash, but does the same one give info to the ECU, or is there a separate one that goes to the ECU? That's my guess.

Everything runs fine once it warms up, doesn't it?
