I bought a wrecked yota for my GF and I am just about have it done but I got an exhaust system off of another 22re yota for it and it is only set up to run one 02 but hers has two....
Is there a way to get rid of the 02 sensor that is after the CAT? My 91 3.0 only has one before and so does this other exhaust off of a 91 22re why does her 91 22re have two???? I dont want to have to deal with mounting another and the smog guy wont check for the second if the check engine light isnt on.... But if there is no way to get rid of it I guess I will just have to pay the muffler shop....

That's weird my 93 only has 1 02, I would try to run it with only the 1 and se if it gives you a code or not if not your golden if so then I would start looking to find out about where and why the second one is there.

If i remember correctly the 4x4 have 1 o2 sensor and the 2wd have 2 o2 sensors.
I would guess that the ecu wants the readings from both o2 sensors to run the engine correctly.

Must be a cali spec truck.. the 2nd o2 sensor is there to make sure the cat is working..
