1st Gen 4Runner: Front shock bushing sleeve slid, preventing removal
I finally got around to picking up Bilsteins for the 4Runner. The rears swapped out in 15 min no problem.
The bolts for the front shocks are also no problem.
The only catch is that the sleeve on one of the front shock bushings slid out one side just enough to catch and make it impossible to remove. I tried getting a screw driver in there, but I am not getting the right leverage.
Any tricks to getting this out?

Find a punch, socket, or metal dowel that is the perfect diameter and move the sleeve back to where it belongs. Or if you really don't care about it, get a dremel or small rotary tool and just cut it away.
