1st Gen 4runner AC Compressor
I am interested to find out if anyone has swapped out a 10p15C on there truck 22re with a 10PA15c. I have searched the web and have read a few tech notes as this units have been used in several different manufactures of cars.
The 10P15C seems to be the original model of compressors installed on the 1st Gen 4runners, but from 1989 to 1995 they used the 10PA15C. Reading around I have notice that most people have been able to use the 10PA15C instead of the 10P15C and the only difference they have noted is that the manifold has to be changed.
Does anyone know if the 10PA15C compressor will work on the 1st gen 4Runners 22re?
If they do work;
Do they bolt up exact onto the mount?
Are they better than the 10P15C?
Would like to know as i maybe able to get a 10PA15C free to go one my 1st Gen 4Runner.
