1994 Pickup making a clicking sound while turning in 4x4
My truck started making a clicking sound recently when I put in 4x4, (actually it sounds more like a rock rolling inside of a tin can).
This only happens when lock it in 4x4 and only while turning both directions. When I'm going straight there is no noise and 4x4 always works fine. I think it's only on the driver side but it's hard to tell.
Any ideas where to start looking?

CV joints will make a clicking noise while turning when they are worn out. That would be a good place to start. Check your boots, are they torn? New or remanufactured half shafts are only $50-60 each if that is the culprit.
Good luck,
