1994 3vze flamethrower injector issue
Bought the flamethrower injectors for my truck trying to boost the performance a little but,my truck ran fine before I did the swap no issues whatsoever. I did my head gaskets about a year ago and with that being said when I did the new injectors I had a friend who is pretty familiar with the 3.0s help my tackle it. We swapped the injectors and replaced the leaky valve cover gaskets. I should also add we marked the vacuum hoses so they would get put back in the right order. We reset the computer by dis connecting the battery. Started it up and it pours white smoke from the tail pipe and is currently not fully firing on cylinder 2. You can disconnect the injector and notice a slight difference in how it runs but not as dramatic as if I disconnect one of the other cylinders which are al firing right. I took if for a drive seeing if it would clear up and the smoke clears up completely after driving a ways but still idles horribly. The truck seems to run great on all cylinders when driving at half or full throttle anything less and you can hear it start to "dog" down. Also when you let of and try to coast it backfires horribly kinda sounds like gunshots. Timing is correct and the injector looks to be seated right according to what I've read up,I know it's hard to know exactly unless you see it up close but this is definitly not just condensation in the tail pipe.i may have missed some info just looking for some collaboration if anyone has had a similar problem

Orange or grey injectors?
Supposedly They got a bad batch of injector filters and they are desolving and causing the injectors to malfunction.
Give them a call and they will next day a new set.
I spent 3 days trying to track down a misfire that seemed to wander all around, I would unplug the plug wire and think I found it and after I plug it it and restart it would be a different cylinder.
One time it sat and idle so smooth even at a 400 RPM idle, Turned it to normal, Next time I started it , It was all loping again.
Called them and he told me what happen, Next day a set of greys.
they work great.
I suggest still trying to get the orange ones, The greys don't use a upper rubber bushing against the fuel rail, I can hear them firing echo through the fuel rails, Sounds like all the valves need adjusting.

Punchy they are the orange ones and sweet I will give him a call still doesn't explain the abundance of white smoke though. The mixture if it was too rich should not cause all of this white smoke.

I also just went through a headache before I found one injector to be bad. If you think you have a bad one...Call them up and they will honor warranty. Customer service was mostly good and very fair.
