Yes you can.
I I put a grille from my 86 4x4 on my 95 4x4.Take the grill assembly off then remove the headlight parking light assembly off each side leaving just the center grill to put away somewhere in case you change your mind.Next step is to take the replacement center grill section and attach the parking light headlight assembly from your truck to it.It should be plug and play interchangable but you may have to do some modifying and fabrication to get it to fit properly.I had to.But its only plastic and with a little imagination,a solderig iron for melting pieces and a sharp utiliy knife for trimming and you can do wonders.Because its plastic its good practice for fabrication. When its time to reattach the grill your stock parking light headlight assembly will screw back into place but you may have to trim away the clip atta hments that dont line up correctly with your trucks clips then you can use zip ties in place of those areas.Anything can be done with patiemce, persaverance and imagination.Good luck.

You can probably do it but the later 2nd gen 4runners had different headlights and probably different marker lights too. You'd half to change out everything, bumper may be different as well.
