1990 4runner 22 re trouble shooting HELP

I am trying to work out why my 4th cylinder is missing at idle.
I have checked my distributer cap, plug wires, vacum leaks, spark plugs, injectors none of this has had any effect on why the 4th is missing at idle. Once rpms pick up then the miss goes away.

Anyone have some good direction for me??

Thanks,

Valve adjustment might be a little tight. Welcome to YT.

I didnt add that to what I did already but ya I did a vavle adjustment and they were a bit tight. after I adjusted them I had no change in my problem. Kinda stuck on this thinking I might swap out ECC or something?

Thanks,

Did you check your compression after the valve adjustment?

Probably, but I always rule out the basics first. What were the compression readings before the valve adjust?

Oh, and you need to check your coolant level. Low coolant causes idle issues in 22RE's.
