hello everybody
i have searched the boards looking for reasons why a 1990 3.0v6 4wheel drive will not stay at an idle i have found bits and pieces of info about possible causes but nothing as to like an entire list of things to check and replace. kinda like a "hey new guy" go check all of this before you come back.

i bought this 2 door second gen last summer and it was in pieces...
the motor was rebuilt 2yrs ago with paperwork. i got the vehicle back together a month later.

when i got it it was completely drained of antifreeze so i didnt want to try to start it then. so a month later after looking through everything and checking all fluids and refilling the radiator. i decided to crank it to see what would happen. it turned over with a little gas pedal encouragement but it wont stay running.

i was just curious if anybody could give me ideas on where to start. fuel pump? fuel filter? spark plugs? wires? distributor? mafs? 02 sensor? egr?

if i cannot figure this out i may just end up selling it as much as i do not want to
