1988 2WD pickup 4'' lift

Ok just a simple question, im getting a 4'' body lift put on my 2WD Toyota pickup and was wondering after this lift whats the biggest size tires I could probably fit on? I haven't lifted it before so its original height as of right now.

Thanks

Can't help with tire size, but you might want to consider getting that body lift down to 3". After that the leverage can be a problem on the body bolts.

Its your truck and do to it whatever makes you happy but why would you try and make your truck something its not? A 4 inch body lift would be really funky looking not to mention dangerous.

As for the original question my guess would be that you could fit 28" tires

why a body lift at all? a little mix and match and google and you can get at least that much in suspension.

You should be able to clear at least 38's no problem...

you might need to re-gear your diffs though!

Body lifts are a cheaper way to lift a truck, not as safe as some other lifts. But seeing as this is a two wheel drive truck, I am thinking you won't be off roading it much and are just looking to put some bigger tires on your truck. I don't think I would try to go any larger than 31 for tires.

If I had a two wheel drive truck I would probably lower the front couple inches and lift the back couple inches. Put some meats in the back and slap a trubo on it and start singing Rice Rice baby dun dun dun dun nun nun forever rice.
