1987 toyota extra cab 350 swap, should i trade?
hey, i have ran across a 1987 toyota extra cab with a 350 motor swap and unknown trans, with a toyota transfer case, it has a 3 inch b/l and im guessing about a 3-4 in pro comp lift and shackle kit, its running 35x12.50 r 15s and 4.10 gears, my question is, the guy may be willin to trade for my 91 yota reg cab, 3.0 add hubs, wit 4.56 out back, i have no lift, and 31x10.50 r15s bfg mud km2s the 1st pics are of my truck

Front Driveshaft will hit the tranny,
If the guy is selling and has no clue what tranny is in it, then its got issues that he has no clue about. I bet the seller didn't do the swap, and that it likely got issues which is why he want to go back to a stock truck.

thanks guys for the input, my first response was hack and whack, and i'm glad you guys clarified it for me, because i looked at it like the swap is already done, and as for a chevy being in a yota, i like the concept, because long ass grades and a 4-cylinder / 6-cylinder, with 37's and sas in the future, i'm thinkin im still going to do a chevy swap, but will go with the 4.3, but yeah not to ramble, I really do appreciate your guys help

to scotty, you're right the owner didnt do the swap, bought it that way, and I can't believe I didn't note that, but ya, the motor is a hack job, it doesn't even have a full exhaust just caught off behind the 2-1 pipe

he didn't even care enough to put a cover on the converter, what else did he not care enought about? oil? trans oil? diff oil? welds? bolts? nuts? poor yota. take the cab when he's not looking. swap it onto your's. best of both worlds.
