1987 4runner idle problems
Made a video of my 4runner idling... i got it about 7 months ago and have had no problems with it untill now. It has started to miss at idle... and it jumps around from 500-1200 at idle. It will hold steady at whatever it decides it wants to stay at.. if itll hold over 1050rpm it wont miss and idle like a dream with no liquid out the exhaust but if it holds at under 1050 it will sputter and misfire and spit out tons of junk. Thanks for any advice.
Ive done all the basics.. plugs, wires, cap, rotor, o2 sensor and cleaned out my egr(ended up plugging it again after cleaning.. no difference with it plugged or unplugged.)

It also burns a fair amount of oil in #3.
I think i have a vacuum leak somewhere... sprayed the whole thing with carb cleaner and no change in rpm..

Don't know if it will help, but my 1989 toyota truck was cranking and immediately stalling. The short version is that the connecting tube from the air filter to the intake manifold was cracked. Duct tape for temporary fix, then replace tube. Runs perfectly now.
