1987 22re Rough Lopy Idle and Missing
I just bought a 1987 4x4 22r fuel injected automatic toyota and it has got idiling and missing issues I can't seem to figure out. The motor runs and I drive it everyday and the motor still seems purty powerful to be running like it is.
(THE BAD)
Idiling very rough and lopy.
The motor has a miss to it.
Will not hardly idle when started in cold weather uless you warm it up a little like a carb motor.
Motor dies when you put it in gear unless you hold the gas down but it doesn't die in park or neutral.
(WHAT I HAVE TRIED)
I have put new plugs, plug wires, dist cap, rotor button on it helped out sum. I can move the dist and retarding the time kills it out but advancing it all the way has very little effect on the engine.
I can adjust the idiling screw and it works.
I have also replaced some of the vaccum lines.
Removed the cold start injector and cleaned it off good.
I have unhooked the brake booster hose and it dies unless I cap my finger over the hose.
This is my first toyota I have ever owned and I would appreciate and ideas of what I can try to trying fix it. Any help would be greatly appreciated

No I haven't tried that yet. I've been working on changing vaccum lines and I have took the cold start injector out and cleaned it because it was covered in black like carbon deposit. My next plan is to take the throttle body off and clean it real good and check the t.p.s
