1986 Front brake upgrade ?'s

So I've been doing a bit of research, and just want to run this idea out to see if I've got it all straight in my head.

I have a 1986 22RE 5 speed 4Runner. Can I swap in a brake master cylinder, calipers & rotors from a 1993 3.0 Auto 4Runner. Is it worth it? And do I have to change the rotors, or can I just keep the 4cyl rotors on there?

If the MC is 1" bore yes...stock 86 is 13/16"

Calipers are 4 piston V6 calipers on the 93, 86 has the 4cyl 2 piston type. ( You'll have to trim a bit off the dust sheild to fit the V6 calipers...no biggy...an inch at most.)

Both are good mods, and will make a braking difference...I have done both and IMO work very well on 1st gens

Rotors I believe are the same

I think you can use the brake booster too, it's a dual diaphram I believe. . .

with the stock first gen booster and 1" MC the pedal may feel like it is stiffer and go closer to the floor. here is the MC thread I was reading:
