Greetings,

I'm slowly working towards getting my "84 Toy to the point where it's for fun only and one of the next things I need to do is find a set of tires for it.

I haven't lifted it yet (money is tight) but I am looking for a set of 31x10.50x15 tires with around 50% tread. I figure since it will be a fun truck only and trailered most of the places it goes, these tires should last a long time...

Is there a problem with my logic? I'm new to wheelin' for fun only and I am on a shoe string budget right now. Any advice would be great. If anybody knows of why this is a bad idea and I should just wait till I can afford new, please post. If anybody knows a decent place to get a set of tires cheap, please post...If anybody has any ideas as to why this is a good idea, I'd like to hear it. Obviously I feel this is a good idea, but I might think it's a good idea for the wrong reasons...any help is appreciated.

You can fit 33x9.5 or 33x10.5 with no lift.
You might try posting in the for sale/wanted section.
