Hard to,find ..84 air cond. idler pulley
Hey, new and first post. Have a 1984 SR5 Extra cab, 4wd, with 22r engine. 291,000 miles.Air conditioning pulley making a little noise so started looking for one. Only luck so,far is in Australia . Not available from Toyota so,said the dealer. Have any of you guys had better luck? As I get into the forum more I will post some pics and more stories about my truck. Thanks in advance for any info.

Should have been more specific....yes it is the tension pulley. And as far as changing the bearing, it's actually a double bearing and is staked in the pulley. I thought about, changing but looks to be a precision press in and stake in 4 spots. I just don't have the tools for that. The pulley has a 15mm hole. I can find plenty of pulleys with the 12 mm hole but only one with the larger one. And as I said, it's in Austraila.

22RE Performance sells them. The description says that the pulley fits all 22R/22RE engines but I would give them a call just to be sure.
They are in the process of upgrading there website but here's the link: https://www.yotatruckparts.com/22re-...djuster-pulley
Note: They are not shipping any parts next week (see banner at top of website).

Thanks GSP. Will investigate that. Millball, that bearing appears to be one of the 12mm shaft style. And is different from the original. But thanks for looking .

Tensioner pulley
I have a tensioner pulley assembly I took off my 87. I don't know if it would work. It came off the lower right side by the motor mount. May work if interested in it.
