85 RE 4runner

just picked up a 85 4runner with a 22RE in it. its super nice and i got it super cheap. $400!!! it has a 3" lift i think, lifts made by super lift, dunno if thats good or not. has a w56 with the reverse gear smoked in it, so i need to find a new one or rebuild it. the front diff is K.O'd, poppin like crazy when the hubs are locked. checked all the diffs and T/C everything was fine excepet the front diff had alot of water mixed in with the gear oil. but i have an 84 4runner that i'll probably part out, atleast for the front 3rd member. my plans are to find another 5.0 HO with a NP435 behind it and an advance adapter to toyota T/C. just worried about all the wiring.

WOW!

Nice find!!!!!

PIC's....yeah, create a PHOTOBUCKET account and then it's so easy even I was able to do it.

I think there is a thread around here somewhere about posting pics. The little pics work but you wante the HUGE ones to show off your details.

Great find!!! if you have pics loaded on yotatech in your album you can copy the bb code and paste it in the message line or put [IMG] before and [/IMG] after you have copied the web link to the photo hosting site...

The tires and wheels are worth 400 bucks. Great find.

You must of had pics of the PO in some compromising situation involving a midget, a dog and some toothless woman.

The CV joints are probably gone on it.

Oh, and of coarse, welcome to Y/T.
