I'm new to this site, and am still figuring it out, but i love my 84 4 runner and am looking for some feed back on my rebuild. I want to convert it to a toyota diesel. I also have some suspension ?'s. Is 3" lift with the solid front axle gong to me longer drive shaft and steering? thanks for the feed back

welcome to the site. 3 inches won't mean a whole lot of changes for you. you could probably get your brake lines to stretch, but extended stainless lines would be the safest way to go. also, a z-link draglink is going to be a really good investment (might be necessary) to help with keeping your steering as close as possible to stock form.
