Wide wheels and tires.

Hey guys I'm looking for how wide wheels and tires y'all are running without any clearance issues. My truck has a 5 inch lift and I'm looking to run 35x13.50 on a 12 wide wheel with 3.625 backspacing and want to know if it will be okay. Please post pics and specs of your rig with pictures. Other year toyotas are welcomed, but mainly looking at 1979-1983.

You can run 32 or 33s with no lift on these trucks, so the tires aren't going to be a problem. The only issue you'll run into is the backspacing, since with these solid front axle trucks, that's a limitation you don't run into as quick with IFS.

Someone will hopefully feel generous, but online searches will help you. The "what size tire fits?" questions come up so often that most people are sick of answering them. It's all been asked and answered on a bunch of different forums already, and the info is out there if you search. I remember going through this on my 83 but I don't remember now what backspacing I ended up having to go with. I know that the rims that were on it when I bought it only fit because the previous owner put wheel spacers on the front. Not ideal..

Thanks for the reply but I already know what height will fit I'm running 35x12.50 on 15x10 wide wheels with 4 inch backspacing. I'm trying to find out how wide I can go without rubbing. I'm trying to see if anyone is out there running 12 wides or more and is 3.625 backspacing a good #. I'd rather see other guys setups before I bust of 1500 for wheel and tires. Anybody else have any info that will help?
