Rear view mirror internals part number
So the other day I was loading a very large box into the passenger seat and accidentally bumped the rear view mirror. I Knocked it out of its bracket and the little internal plastic screw broke. Super brittle and frustrating. I'd like to find a replacement part or just the little screws as everything else is fine. I don't want to JB weld it if I don't HAVE to.

thanks for the tip. I PMed slacker too, thought maybe he had a line on those little plastic screws.
I may end up going hunting in the hardware store. I feel like I've seen something similar to that before, but getting matching threads is going to be very unlikely.

Thanks, now to find a source haha can't imagine most dealers can even get that individual part
more pics for just for clarification
yes my mirror has been eaten by the sun. That's why the part was so fragile.

yea, I have some access to a lathe. I may have to get the correct threaded bolt and make some replacements. Could cut the head off, hollow out the tip and give it a slot to turn with a flat headed screw driver. Wouldn't be the end of the world.

I found these screws at Ace Hardware, they were technically standard fine threads, I believe 5/16. I'm Forgetting that at the moment. They threaded in, a little bit tight, but it worked. They should be M8x1.0, but they didn't have this style screw with those threads, only coarse.
$1.08 to fix it and I replaced both the screws since they are metal.
