I have yet to go run around the local U-pull-it yards and such, and hope to find some stuff there. Again, we shall see.

[I]this picture was taken in the mid 80's. back tire's and rims off a cat 980. there is shake blocks between the springs and the frame and shake blocks in the box to keep the sides from collapsing. it's just about 6,500 pounds

First Priority
- Flasher (blinkers, hazards)
- Do they not work altogether, or are the bulbs just missing? - Door Panels
- I'd had TAP Plastics cut mine out of ABS plastic. They work. Some neoprene insulation backing them helps cut out noise - Shifter Boot
- Seats (possibly just reupholster)
- Civic and Corolla seats are popular affordable junkyard swaps. They're fairly easy to install
Secondary priority
- Cutout rust, weld in new panels (inside bed)
- Paint
- Rattle-can paint jobs work wonders! - Suspension
- Rebuild motor, Tranny, Drivetrain
I have a few ideas to consider in green. Sounds like a nice project!
My two cents would be to avoid cutting panels unless you or someone you know has the resources and skills to tend to it. That's how I've humpty-dumptyed my last projects.

Hey thanks..
Yea, i'm going to use a PDF file (hopefully), & cut the sheet metal out on a plasma table.
Blinker/Hazards are fixed, was just a loose/bad connection in the column.
I did find some decent seats for a great price, but not sure i want the cloth material, im thinking all vinyl would be better, we'll see.
So i guess my next, & highest priority is now a shifter boot.. 2WD ones are hard as heck to find.!

Having grown up around a single-cab S10 with vinyl seats, I think cloth is the way to go, especially if you like wearing shorts in the summer.

It could very well be, they all kind of look the same to me.
There were a couple of kids running around town with one of those stepside beds fitted into a third-gen 2WD Toyota. It was uglier than sin, but I guess it worked.

1980 Long Bed
Just restored the back half of the frame with por15. I think it came out pretty nice overall especially since i am a rookie.
