Cylinder walls
Here is a couple pics of my cylinder walls.
I don't see any cross hatching. Is that ok?
I see that the each piston has a notch at the top. Is this a sign of a rebuild?
Also if I look close, I can see tiny debris in between the piston and cylinder wall. Junk from top of piston. Won't vacuum out. If I try to wiggle the piston, I can't get any play side to side. Motor turns over very easy by hand. Ok?
Thanks.

I can pick up a micrometer tomorrow and post readings.
On the top it's not really a ridge, I would say the top 1/8'' or so is a little wider then the actual cylinder bore.
I'm the second owner, bought it with 85,000 with no documentation, but knew the family it came from. So I'm fairly certain that is correct mileage.
Thanks.

Well I finally got back to this.
I measured two directions on each bore. North & South, then East & West. If that makes sense. I was only able to get a reading down about a 1/2'' into cylinder.
#1 91.1mm both directions
#2 91.2 both ways
#3 91.2 both ways
#4 91.3 both ways
Seams ok to me?

I was putting in a qt every 600 miles but no smoke.
It did have some bad leaks. Oil pan, timing cover/front crank seal, and valve cover mostly.
