36 or 28/36 Weber Gaskets?

Anyone know where I can find gaskets for the DCD webers in the US or anyone know info on them? I tried googling sites that sell the gaskets but there all european based and I live in Hawaii. It would take forever to reach me.

Pierce Manifolds out of Gilroy, CA (www.piercemanifolds.com) can probably get you the gaskets you need. They carry a lot of DCD parts. If you're just looking for the carb flange gasket, you could make those from a roll of thick gasket paper.

Are you currently running this carb on your truck? If so, I'd be interested in seeing your setup. The DCD is a great carb.

Thanks! Truth is, i dont know anything about carbs. All my knowledge is based on google, this site and a service manual. I just know that its leaking and letting fumes into the cab. The truck kicks when i shut it off, so i leave it in first and let the clutch out to stop it. It doesn't look like a 32/36 to me and when i came accross the 36dcd on the internet i pretty much told myself it was the same. Thats just me not knowing s***. Haha! So any info helps alot and i appreciate anyones time!

With Webers, there should be a number either on the side of the carb mounting flange or on the side of the bowl. That should tell you the model you have and what rebuild kit you need. What you probably have is a DGEV, which is a Weber DGV with an electric choke.

I would recommend getting a Haynes Weber carb book, a full rebuild kit and some carb cleaner and thoroughly go through the carb. Be sure to degrease it before you tear it down.

That's no DGEV, cause it doesn't look anything like mine. I would probably get ahold of Pierce manifolds and maybe send them those pictures or something, cause I'm not sure what that is.
